HOW TO OBSERVE NATIONAL ALCOHOL AWARENESS MONTH IN APRIL 2022

Participate in the Alcohol-Free-Weekend
Alcoholism is the third-leading preventable cause of death in the United State claiming the lives of more than 90,000 people every year. As part of National Alcohol Awareness Month, the National Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependency encourages the public to spend 72 hours without alcohol.

During those three days, monitor your symptoms for discomfort or cravings.  Consider what those warning signs mean to you? Evaluate the role of alcohol in your lives. Is that role healthy? Does it need to change? What resources can you and your family/friends identify  to make those changes?

Remember, FADAP is a 24/7 confidential resource available to all Flight Attendants and their family members.  Just call (855) 333-2327.
